This UHF emergency communication repeater system comes complete. Just add an antenna and 12 volts and the system is up
and running. The two radios in this link system has 128 memories per radio, this will allow you to per program frequencies
on the VHF side for your location into the radios. Once on location you can select the frequency you need to talk on the link
system (128 memory) and power up the system, it’s that simple. If you go to a location that has a VHF system instead
of UHF you can use the cross link VHF system to repeat into the UHF repeater. The link system can go both ways. The
main goal of this system is for you to have communications in case of commercial power outages and or the loss of existing
communication towers. The cost of the UHF repeater and cross link system is $3395.00
UHF Repeater and link radio
This system can be installed in one box that is or is not water proof. The weight of the unit is around 58 Lbs. with the
batteries. The case that is used does have handles and wheels so it can be moved with a little effort. Float charging of the
batteries is from the power supply which is a 30 Amp supply. If AC power is lost the unit will auto switch to the back up
batteries. The batteries that we use are from 35 Amp Hour to 42 Amp Hour each, this will allow you to operate for some time
depending on the power out of the repeater. The cross link radio in this unit is controlled by DTMF codes so you can turn
the VHF side on or off and control the frequency that you are transmitting on. This will allow you to talk to different agencies
on VHF with a UHF repeater. With the growing number of different systems Texas has adopted frequencies that are for use on
the VHF bands that are simplex for Police, Fire, and Medical personal. You can chouse which agency you need to talk with for
mission critical information. This repeater and link system can fit many different needs that can be used in the field or
at a fixed location. For more information on portable repeaters or fixed repeaters please give us a call at 1-800-588-2426
